Let me relate this to gun ownership.  Liberals/Democrats are no friends of gun owners.  While ownership is enjoying a surge in popular support, this will not translate into gun friendly congress or courts in the long run.

This is a blog by Rabbi Pruzansky of Teaneck, NJ.   Published in 2012 it is more true today and as it will be for 2016.   Pockets of conservatives will hold out for some time, like my Cobb County, GA, but slowly, election by election, "the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness - no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate."

The most charitable way of explaining the election results of 2012 is that Americans voted for the status quo – for the incumbent President and for a divided Congress. They must enjoy gridlock, partisanship, incompetence, economic stagnation and avoidance of responsibility.

The American empire began to decline in 2007, and the deterioration has been exacerbated in the last five years. This election [2012] only hastens that decline. Society is permeated with sloth, greed, envy and materialistic excess. It has lost its moorings and its moral foundations. The takers outnumber the givers, and that will only increase in years to come.

There actually IS a loose conspiracy that addresses all the craziness of the last 90 years.
After WWI A group in Germany , known as the "Frankfort School" looked around and wondered why the Western nations were not joining the "glorious workers revolution" of the Bolsheviks in Russia.
Their research found that the "workers" in the capitalist West had it pretty good and were fairly happy with life.
The only way communism could defeat the West would be buy undermining the things that made Western Civilization strong, Morality, Family, Industry, patriotism, work ethic, faith, and Education.
Any one who thinks the West "won" the Cold War is a fool who does not understand that it was a conflict, not between nations, as aggressive as the Soviets may have been they never had the ability, or desire, to invade Western Europe, it was instead a war between Ideologies that did not depend on national support, but instead, infiltration, propaganda and internal subversion by treasonous Quisling's with in the target culture.
This is why the last 90 years has seen the marginalization of religion, the rise of "entitlements" and deficit spending to support them , the demonization of nationalist pride and patriotism in favor of  failed internationalism, the plummeting of educational goals in favor of "social issues" that are nothing more than indoctrination, the dumbing and numbing of the population through brainless media, and the intentional devaluation of currencies, particularly the dollar.
That is the conspiracy, and any body with the ambition to actually READ history, in original sources instead of BS published by biased, Marxist "professors" incestuously referencing each other will find it easy to document.
From the "League of Nations, to Global warming, it's all a scam aimed at making you peons, (Ever notice the similarity between, "peon", "peasant", and pee on, and piss ant ?) obedient to your masters.

All of this is based upon the FACT that generally speaking in this country, people have been educated, (dumbed down would be a better description), by a communist public school system that FREE is better than FREEDOM. I mean you can't look anywhere and not see examples of liberal Democratic failure. And in spite of it, they keep voting for it.

Over 20 Trillion of Debt. This from the party of stupid...... DEMOCRATS.
Social Security was established in 1935 by Democrats. They have had 77 years to get it right, and through liberal changes giving it to drug users, obese and thousands that just don’t want to work, and the result is it's broke. You can now collect benefits at 19 if your obese, have brain damage from doing drugs, and you can add many other self-inflicted illnesses.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938. They have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. They've added funding for 237 years, have over benefited and paid for the menial skills involved in it's overpriced operation, and it is also broke. Meanwhile both UPS and Fed Ex are run under a private capitalistic system, and both run better, and at a profit, and remain competitive. Neither get a cent from the government.

The War on Poverty started in 1964. Dems have mismanaged it for 48 years in an attempt to get it right. $1/2 Trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to, "the poor", and they only want more and their numbers are increasing because it discourages work and self reliance. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. Dems have had 47 years to get it right and they are both broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970. The Democrats have had 42 years to get it right and it is broke.
EPA is a gross failure of  Nixon, a Republican, since legislature was incompetent in dealing with these issues. However, the Dems have funded it blindly ever since, and allowed the loss of 25 million jobs in the last 10 years alone. Productivity is under 20%, and most all the people in it are paid six figures, with no over site what so ever. As a direct result it has been turned into a mass financial disaster by the Democrats.

I won't even get into the massive failure of "gun control", which has proven to be failure on top of failure. The Democrats have FAILED in every "government service" they have shoved down our throats, while overspending our tax dollars. AND THEY WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE THEY CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM? About all that is proven to be dumber than Democrats, are the liberal, socialist idiots who vote for them time after time, and continue to get the same result. Which is the correct definition of insanity.

As with Muslim terrorism, so it is with communist/socialist subversion. You do not need a central organization coordinating actions when you have a sympathetic individual promoting your ideas in schools, brain washing the youth, and another sympathetic individual in the media slanting stories to favor your agenda, and another sympathetic Billionaire financing public opinion groups to advance your agenda, another individual in politics pushing legislation that advances your cause, etc, etc, .
