Tax payers, which may or may not include you, are  supposed to vote for "Men of good character" and cast "informed votes" for what's best for the country.

I get that part. The problem is besides Regan, when is the last time a, "Man of good character", ran for President? It doesn't take much "to be informed" they're all $h!t.

It's the nations fault. We've allowed this country to dumb down way too far. It's irreversible now. Even if we had, "men of character" running, the electorate is too stupid to elect them. I'm not a teacher, and you can't vote for teachers. And the worse ones cannot be fired.

Sounds good, and I agree with you. The problem is it's realistically never going to happen. If these idiots are too lazy to even vote for, "a person with character", how are they going to have the stones to shoot the one's that don't? Especially when the reason for them voting in the first place is to get a handout. It's all nothing more than wishful thinking.

If you look at the history of leftist revolutions, France, Russia, Cambodia, North Korea they  ALWAYS result in dictatorships.
If we REALLY want to return America to it's intended form of gov't our best bet is to follow the route of the French revolution. Everybody should vote for Bernie, or Hillary, let them finish creating chaos then, like Napoleon, steal their revolution and use the dictatorship to rebuild the structure of the Republic while using the absolute power to ingrain the needed sense of personal responsibility.

Again I agree. However, it's a total lost cause. If these people are too lazy to "work within the system", (and I believe you're right, they are), they sure as hell aren't going to possess the balls to take up arms against it. This nation has become totally pussified. Example: How many college campus shootings do we have to have, before these gutless wonders carry a gun to class? And if ANYONE calls them on it, tell them to go F*#K themselves. They still go, day after day, unarmed like sheep to slaughter.

If I had a son or daughter, there is no way I would allow them to set foot on a college campus today without a loaded weapon in their possession. Along with the knowledge and skill to use it effectively. No matter because 99.99% will not arm themselves. We have been turned into one of the most gutless nations on Earth. Nothing is going to turn it around. By the time these idiots get the point, Putin will be sleeping in the White House.
