Different Attack, But Fitting ...

... and color me pissed  >:(



I don't live by the TV or radio, and only read a few papers, but the only comments I heard about Pearl Harbor this year was yesterday when Fox Sports changed the anniversary to yesterday.

Seventy-Four years ago this morning (December 7, 1941)!

Stop and think about what Pearl Harbor meant to the United States:  Massive attack on our military on our own soil; Facing distrust of different nationalities in our nation; Splitting our military forces between multiple major fronts; and ultimately unleashing the atom. 

What have we learned, and forgotten, over the past 74 years?

A few years ago, I received a text from a guy I worked with who sent me a bunch of pics of a boat in HI that he'd toured.  When he got back to the states I asked him about it and he was clueless about the significance or the history of the ship. 

Apparently he wasn't listening to the tour guide or looking down much...

He missed this...  He's a bit of a dumbass anyway...  doesn't work here anymore..

Hi;

     this is what we can expect from the current young generation and future generations. Not that it is thier fault - since they are not allowed in schools to Pray, say Merry Christmas and be brainwashed that the pilgrims were oppressive of the Native Indians. That the people heading west in the 1850-70 period were oppressors to the plains Indians.

     they are being taught that the white man is a terrible person and that we should be tolerant of those who just want to take and not give or earn what they have/get.

     They are also being taught to do everything the Govt tells them to do and not ask questions. Kids can not play cops and robbers/ cowboys and indians in shool playgrounds.

     Do they still pledge alliegence to the flag in school(s) these days ?

     How many of these kids are told that if Mommy or Daddy corrects or punishes you at home - tell teacher and teacher will send the cops to deal with Mommy/Daddy ?

     What is happening in colleges today? American is the great evil empire, give comfort to radicals and those trying to destroy this Country. Overthrow the establishment ? Those who do not go with "the program" will get low grades and threatened with failing courses and college itself ?

     this sort of thing started back in the 50's and 60's  - so how long is it going to take to get this Great Country back on track ?

     Or do we just surrender and give up ?
