Before we vote...
« on: January 28, 2016, 02:31:32 PM »
I know many won't take this well, but what I say here speaks for itself..
-------

Get it loud and clear, before you vote..
I will face the Lord with my vote, and I owe Him an explanation for the votes I cast.
I cannot, and I will not vote for a pro-abortion candidate for office, period.
When you all go over the cliff for Trump, don't come whining to me to support him, just because you did.
I cannot.
Don't get all surprised when the same thing happens that happened when Mitt and McCain ran.
It won't be any different..

(Maybe this time, "somebody else" should "think about it"...)  ???  :o
-----------

Okay, fire away.. Just remember who gets screamed at every time the compromise du jour gets offered as the commanded enema..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

No argument from me, Santy!

Some of the same guys touting Trump as the guy this cycle, slammed him during the last cycle.

He's saying all the right things but he's not going to win the presidency.  It's still too early to chose any of these people or none of them.

If the Donald can't be confronted by a 5'6" bleach blonde on Fox News, he's not going to do well in any real debate on the issues.  Today he's a "Republican", tomorrow?  Who knows!  He flips and flops like a fresh caught blue fish..

Smack him with a club and kick him back into LI Sound!

Trump's all about Trump.  He has no other principles that I can tell and will sell out at in a heart beat.  He's been all over the board on all the issues.

BUT:  If it comes down to Trump Vs HRC... I'm not votin' for Hill.

ps  HRC said it's about time to have a women in the Whithouse.   Bill said he's already had several.

Trump appears to be an egotistical ass that if he doesn’t get his way will take his ball and go home. The President of The United States cannot do that. I personally do not want a man like that with his hand on the nuclear button and choosing the next couple of Supreme Court justices. He might make some really bad decisions that will affect us poorly for the next century.

On the other hand we KNOW Hill or Bernie WILL make bad decisions.

Once again I will be forced to hold my nose while I vote for someone I really do not want in the office because the powers at hand do not give us a choice that is truly acceptable, accountable, and professional enough to be a good POTUS.

Don't matter. It's gone to far for one guy to fix it with in the system.
If you are still under the illusion you live in a free country try buying a large capacity toilet tank.
Elections are like crossword puzzles, a way to kill time until the revolution.
As for the "candidates", the only 2 who are not campaigning on what used to be the Dem platform are Trump and Cruz.
Cruz doesn't have the personal wealth to tell the GOP to go to hell, so he is dependent on the establishment for campaign funds .
Trump, with the exception of some of the more violent tactics, is doing, and saying, a lot of the same things I would. He's applying Alinsky's rules in a text book fashion, and will probably get the nomination just based on numbers. The alternative is a split in the party that will give the election to Biden or Bernie, probably Biden.
Saying that Trump can't handle Meghan Kelly is a major over simplification of the situation, and is no where near being accurate, not only is he handling her, he's also milking her for yet more free media exposure.
Trump has the added advantage that he is not beholden to any one for funding.
I like what Trump is saying, but I'm also reading some history about Hitler and I note that he also daid what most wanted to hear.
In the primary I will probably vote for Cruz knowing that if he does win he will be hampered by RINO's and liberals as much or more than Reagan. Come the general election I will vote for Satan himself if he opposes the liberal agenda.
On the Dem side, Hillary is a joke,if she had the support of her own party you would not be seeing all these stories about possible indictment by the dem controlled Justice Department. If it looks like she might actually get the nomination she will get indicted and Biden will "reluctantly" step in "for the good of the country". As it stands now she will be s distant 2nd behind Bernie the open communist.

As in the USSR, there are always exceptions.  Restaurants don't (at least used to not) have to abide by that.  So.. yes, I've just framed us under the boot too.

Any idea if I can legally make a sale to a private individual if I wanted to sell my spare (which I do not want to sell)?

My preference has been Cruz...though I recognize he is a lawyer and I'm not cool with that.  Tom blew up Carson on the 2nd Amendment with me....I'm guessing that statement of Carson's was not shown to be disinformation.  Now, also recall just because it's important to recognize how things work, the Dems/Media did a job on him back in late November or so.  They twisted words and he's fallen back ever since....3 weeks and he was done.

And then Donald.  Maybe he'll hire me as Secretary of the Dept. of Energy if oil prices don't go back up $15 or so.  So...yeah, I am thinking Trump is going to get this.  Hillary is going to get 15 to life.  Bernie may win the dimocrud primaries but he's out....maybe a Biden/Mallory ticket evolves...if it does then Bernie will be swept aside for the main vote.

Confession...
I've been steering way clear of here because I have alot of folks that I think a great deal of, some of which are following Trump over the cliff.
I haven't changed my mind on him. More importantly, Trump hasn't changed his mind about the things he has espoused for as many years as he has had that mouth and ego to trumpet his sense of self-importance.
I cannot vote for Trump, for the same sorts of reasons I haven't been able to vote for so many "compromise/electable" candidates..
The Resurgent has an article that sums it up well enough.
http://theresurgent.com/i-will-not-vote-for-donald-trump-ever/?mc_cid=6253e8c8ad&mc_eid=fca4968db9
I have lines that I will not cross. Abortion, RKBA, are chief among them. Trump has said, and been consistent for years that he opposes all that I hold most dear. I'm not "compromising". Come and get em if it means that much to you. My decisions were made years ago.
I've lost friends over my choices before. I hope this isn't the case again, but it won't be the first time, and I don't suspect it'll be the last..
God bless, (and save us from ourselves!!!)
Joe
PS. I'm not even sure I could stomach Rubio at this point.. Pretty little liar and the face of every mothers son. Squeeze him and he pops out a lie. It's like a Coke machine..  :(

As much as everyone talks about how strange this election is, it's really not. Yes, Sanders and Trump have stirred the traditional pot, but as far as having someone that I want to vote for, this is no different than any other election. I will not vote for one of these democrats, and the (presumptive) "conservative" candidate is a turd.

When all else fails, I go back to what I know and what I want. All I know is what they say and what their record says about them. All I want is freedom. While Trump is a world class ass, he has some positive track record with 2 A, his family are involved with firearms, and he SAYS he will protect, if not enhance, second amendment freedoms. Bernie, Hilary, Joe, and any other progressive creep the other team comes up with wants to take your guns. I'll vote for the freedom I want because, a. I have nothing else to go on, and b. to not vote is a vote for the democrats.
I got the blues as my companion.

Trump is not my first choice, but if he is the eventual nominee I will hold my nose and vote for him, simply because failing to vote at all is tantamount to casting a ballot for whichever socialist the other side nominates.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!
