University of Texas to allow guns in classrooms:
AUSTIN, Texas -- Save for some narrow exceptions, guns will be allowed in classrooms but not in dorms at the University of Texas....

At least a move in the right direction.
The time for action is upon us and the enemy is at our gates. Let us not allow them one more inch of advancement but instead throw them through the gates of Hell.

According to the article, few students old enough to obtain a permit live in the dorms...... and parental vistors and employees will be permitted to caryy in the dorms common areas.

Isn't it amazing, and sad, that we need to rejoice when our basic human rights, those also protected by our Constitution, are recognized and not taken away?

Now the liberal professors will either sue the school for creating a hostile work environment or refuse to teach in such a "dangerous enviroment".

I pick Option 2.

Replace them with professors who are also NRA Certified Firearms Instructors.

I guess no one dares talk about Glock vs 1911 or .45 vs 9mm at a gun range, gun club or firearms store?

And if I was a professor so frightened about student retaliation I'd do one of two things:

1. find another job

2. carry my side arm at all times.

honestly I carried in school, no one ever knew or ever cared.

my view on ccw is heavily skewed on the evil ca rules, where the local sheriff determined everything.

moving counties got mine revoked for no reason other then the sheriff didn't want anyone having one.

my view is if you can walk on the street you should be able to carry.   if you can't be trusted to do that, then you can't be trusted on the street.

Am I the only one who finds it interesting that one of the school killings she used to defend her position against guns on campus was the so-called "Bath Massacre"?  If memory serves, the killer there used dynamite, not a firearm.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!
