Tab, I dare say most of us have been where you are, deep in despair or frustration, desperate to find a way back. Hang on, stay your course, take a deep breath. I like the dark chocolate idea too!  ;)

Along with others here, I too have faith. And the saying in your OP is wrong - God gives you way more than you can handle simply to get you to turn to Him. If you could do it all, handle it all yourself, you would not need Him, would you? You may wish to ponder that.

In the meantime, stay frosty.

I am not in dispare or frustration.

I am just sick of others dumping their probs on me.

A bunch of the drama in our lives is caused by our own actions.  Not saying that's the case with you but sometimes, walking away is a better course of action..

Some folks don't want to be helped!

Tim's right.  Some people don't want to be helped.

Take my mother-in-law for instance.  Please, take her.  I mean it.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Sounds like we have much in common besides the love of all things firearms.  ;)

My mother-in-law is a piece of work....if you gave her a brick of pure gold, she would grumble because it wasn't round.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
