Does anyone know the legal status of guns that don't look like guns? For a long time I thought they were illegal then I saw some pen guns for sale.

it may not be a AOW.  if it can not fire until it is unfolded it might be a handgun.


some pen guns are that way, they are un fireable until they are transformed it to a gun like object.   others are AOW.



edit no where on their site does it say its a AOW... i believe they must say if they are.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Not very excited about it.

You would be need to have four of them on  your belt to match the capacity of an LCP (assuming it holds 2 rounds..does not say, but it seems with 2 barrels, that would be the case)

Further I believe I could have my LCP in play and fired dry from my pocket holster before this one would be ready to go..

If you are serious about carrying, then choose a serious carry weapon...not a two round gimmick.

But I guess if you won't carry unless it is something this simple, do it....but remember you are not being serious about your carry weapon.

Unlike your LCP this can be carried where guns aren't allowed, like court houses.

I think you're right. The pen guns I saw twisted in the middle into a pistol shape.

Lukewarm about the idea.  Somewhat of a gimmick.  Wouldn't someone want to know why you have 2 cell phones?

It would be better for someone like me that doesn't own a cell phone but I'm not convinced it's faster than a pocket pistol.

Wrong Tom.  It is still a gun and subject to the restrictions.  Now, there are areas where you can carry in government and school buildings - like Minnesota :)
