Wrong Tom.  It is still a gun and subject to the restrictions.  Now, there are areas where you can carry in government and school buildings - like Minnesota :)
just saw where a school district in sacramento lets teachers carry now. lol

Your thinking is flawed,.
I never said it was legal, I said it would give you a gun in places you mere citizens aren't allowed to have them.
If you wish to be a "good citizen" and trust your safety to the people who  have spent the last 15 years profiling old ladies and infants but not Muslim men and gangbangers that's your business but there ARE other options.

In a rather convoluted law passed last year in GA, local governments can only outlaw guns in their buildings IF they take positive action to screen for them.  They can't just pass a law, but have to setup metal detectors and have LEOs screen everyone entering.

So local governments who previously weren't overly concerned, at least not enough to set up screening stations, are now scrambling to do so, just to stop law abiding citizens from carrying in local governmental buildings.

Will work for ammo

You are not making sense Tom, unless you are saying that it is ok to break the law.

Disguising a gun does not make it legal to carry any more than if it isn't disguised.  There are legal ways to carry or otherwise protect yourself, and there are legal ways to change the laws.  And, of course, there is a time to rebel.  As of today we have the ability to live within the law to protect ourselves and to better, or correct, the system.

I'm saying that if you chose to actually exorcise your rights regardless of what your betters decree this gives you the option of saying screw the unconstitutional laws.
"Shall NOT be infringed " isn't that hard to understand.

Yep....... me and the deputy manning the detector at our county admin building laugh at this every time I have to go renew auto tags.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
