Pres. BHO confronted Castro on "political prisoners." Castro responded that there were none, but if Pres. BHO would present a list of names they would be released before the night. As of this morning, Pres. BHO has not presented a list and claims he has done so in the past.
I want a President who will make a demand and make it in a manor that gets action. Perhaps Castro would still drag his feet or come up with other excuses and charges, but, act like you have a pair and stand up for this nation!
Think back to Pres. RR: The sheer fact he was coming into office got prisoners released; "Open mic" comments sent messages; And, public open demands brought action. Our current Pres. compromises every thing to be diplomatic and non-abrasive. There are many things you can do as a host or guest, but as an American, leader or not, you do not honor criminals and dictators; you do not bow as a subject to other leaders (remember that our Flag does not dip or move from the place of honor for any other); you do not participate in ceremony sending a message we do not support; and as a Christian, which he claims to be, you do not participate in other religious ceremony and prayers, and you do not bow to their gods.
There are many things that I disagree with Trump on, and I do not agree with his juvenile actions. But, maybe he is just the loose cannon that can get us back at the adult table in world affairs. Mrs. Clinton claims Trump cannot conduct foreign affairs, but then again, she still denies that anyone died in Bengazi.
