Concealed Carry in Texas Schools MSNBC Poll Results
« on: August 25, 2008, 06:54:50 PM »
I just read the article on MSNBC about the Texas school that is allowing the teachers to carry concealed. They currently have 9346 responses and it is currently 59% in favor of allowing teachers to carry versus 35% against. I would be willing to bet that they didn't expect that result.

MSNBC still doesn't seem to get it. Two different 'yes' votes. One for 'if the teacher feels they need it' and one for 'only in the most dangerous school districts'.  Last I heard, all the mass shootings or attempted mass shootings were not in 'the most dangerous school districts'.

MSNBC fails the reality check yet again.
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.
