I do have a Glock 17 gen 1, my every day carry is a Glock 23 gen4 in .40 cal. I was wanting to shoot the competition division in GSSF so the G-34 or G-41 in MOS was looking very attractive to me, and now the mad scientists at Glock have made the G-17 gen4s in MOS so now I have to stop from thinking I need that one too maybe next year.
I can shoot the stock guardian division with the gen 1 G-17 for now.
Gen 4s for me are great in the fact that you can replace back-straps to fit your hand especially the beavertail grip.
Common sense tells me to stick to same caliber for the competition guns. Then you have to only have to bring one type of ammo.
This is therapy for shooters, Right?
