Hey MB any Ruger news?
« on: August 27, 2008, 06:38:53 PM »
Was just wondering if you had heard anything from the Ruger honchos on when they are going to release the new product that they had originally planned for April/May before the LCP exploded and they had to re-engineer the SR9 trigger. Also if they would get around to one day making the Blackhawk or Vaquero available in 44SPL it would be appreciated.  ;)

Thanks.

I figure they're too busy looking for someone to buy their dumb asses out and fix all their screwups.

I'll wager poor old Bill Sr. is rollin' over in his grave, with all this business going on.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Let's not dis Ruger completely now. I've got a P-89 that has been a consistent and accurate range gun for over 10 years now. I also owned a P-345 as a carry piece that was dependeble with all of the factory ammo that I fed it.  ;D I really believe that their current problems stem from admin/legal screw ups, that would not have occurred if the country didn't have so many law schools.

Off topic MB I am also wondering if you ever got around to putting a Knoxx Breachers grip on your Serbu Super Shorty and whether it is effective in saving your thumb.

Thanks, CCD.

They make alot of cool products, but they sold me and a lot of other people a slick pistol that THEY decided was possibly defective, made us wait months to retrofit it, and the retrofit is a cobbled up piece of crap that won't shoot straight. What they should do is buy the mutilated corpses back from us. We bought in good faith, and it's RUGER for God's sake....they should stand up and take care of the customer.
I'll diss them all day long until they nut up and stand up.[/
