Please, Help Me Understand

I have been amazed by the gullible people in this nation, and how easy the media manipulates them.  My tipping point came over the so called attack on a Gold Star Family, when everyone went off on Trump's "attack" on them.  I have yet to see or hear a replay of an attack.  The only thing I keep seeing, reading, and hearing is his comment that even though both parents were supposed to speak only the father did because "she was not allowed to."  Making a comment on an assumption that follows the cultural norms of a society and religion is not an attack!

Yesterday I was busy, and when I stopped at a truck stop of a heart attack in a sack I saw CNN - Saw, not heard, because our stupid copyright laws say you have to pay to have the sound on along with the picture.  I read the scrolls, and when I got home late last night I watched CNN for over an hour to see what happened.  Who in their educated right mind takes what Trump said, and the way he said it, as a threat on Clinton's life or an incident of inciting violence and riots?

People in this country are idiots. It's why we're finished, even if Trump gets in. They'll hate every day he's in office, because he won't give out freebies, and or blow Sunshine up their asses.

That whole Khan deal was orchestrated by the Democrats from the get go. That ass hat waving his copy of the Constitution, offering to "lend it" to Trump. He poked the bear, and he got bit. It's as simple as that. It was nothing but retaliation for the Republicans giving Pat Smith the podium, and letting her tell the entire country what a lying bitch Clinton is. (As if they don't know).

They, (Dems), can't stick to the issues because the entire 8 years Obama has held office is a complete disaster. They know it, so instead they run interference. Their stupid, brainless constituents eat it all up with a spoon. I'm hoping there are enough Republicans that will come out of the woodwork to push Trump over the top. We need him in there for the Supreme Court nominations. If it's Hillary, then just kiss the country goodbye.

I need my dispatcher to call SOON, or my head will explode.  Trying to get in to get my knee checked, following my first surgery in 1984 I was told I would need replacement within 25 years - My math skills are just good enough to tell me this pain ain't good, so I have too much time to follow the news and the idiot brigade.

They are now claiming the real threat that Trump put our, or called for, was in the second sentence where he said "That would be horrible."  This is their statement of EXACTLY what Trump said.  However, in listening to it, and actually reading the transcript I found the entire sentence ... ALL  THE  WORDS:

"But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day, if Hillary gets to put her judges in, right now we're tied."

Is Trump threatening or calling for murder, or is he stating what would happen if Clinton gets her way with the Courts?  Remember, a couple weeks ago she called for us to vote for her so she could appoint Justices who would strengthen what Pres. BHO has started and that would secure gun restrictions (of course she included common sense in this phrase) and "fix" the Second Amendment.

The fact of the matter is Hillary HATES the Second Amendment. She knows she can't get rid of it, so she'll do the next best thing. Appoint enough liberal, socialist justices to twist and reinterpret it's meaning, so it doesn't even resemble what the Founding Fathers created.

I now I am preaching to the choir but in my 60 years of life on this planet I have NEVER known it to be this bad politically. At least in this country. Part of me is scared of what is going on and the rest of me want it to be corrected no matter the cost. The media is making so much hay about Trump’s comment about the 2nd Amendment group being able to stop Killery and that he was referring to the possibility of violence being used to stop her. Well while I am not inciting war (CYA moment) I am not sure that solution would be wrong and if it were to occur I know what side I would be on. There is still that part of me that is saying “bring it”.

You are not the only one. Just look at the lack of compliance to the recently passed, "New York Safe Act". People in this country have completely had it. This is what happens when anti gun liberal politicians ram unpopular gun control laws through in the middle of the night.

A couple of statistical facts may help lend some understanding to the current situation.

An IQ (Intelligence Quotient) of 100 is the statistical norm.  It's at the high point in a standard deviation Bell curve.  An equal number of folks are below that center point as are above it.  Statistically on average, one out of two are "below average" in intelligence.  We call these people Democrats.  An equal number of folk are "above average" in intelligence.  We call these people by many names including Republicans, Libertarians, No Party Affiliation, Tea Party, and others.  So, although the above average group is every bit as large as the below average group in numbers, we are reduced in political power because we affiliate in a wide variety of ways to suit our particular political convictions.  So, the more intelligent groups are frequently defeated by a unified group of essentially stupid people who have no particular conviction other than "free stuff," to pick a particularly current issue.

As a society, we tend to group together with those of similar thoughts and convictions.  High IQ types rarely attach to low IQ groups.  This makes brighter types less easily maneuvered because our friends and cohorts will tend to call us on anything we say that may be stupid or counter to proven fact.  For example, we might say something like: Socialism is a wise and fair form of government.  Immediately someone will point out that it is inherently unfair, has never worked anywhere, and only rewards those who would do less while taking from those who would do more.  See, being smarter is self-correcting.

Stupid people, on the other hand, may say something like: I like lots of free stuff from the government.  None of their cohorts are bright enough to understand that nothing is free, someone always pays, and it's usually the lower economic class that pays the most.  Still, free stuff looks good so the whole gang of stupid people start yelling that they want free stuff and without fail, some politico will stand up and claim to be the one who will give them the most free stuff, and that's the one who gets elected.

It has always been thus.  Yet, I fear that the statistical center in the IQ spectrum is drifting to the lower side.  This may mean that we are producing more stupid people than intelligent types.  You can look around and see the ones doing the most breeding are firmly on the side of the stupid types.  When the stupid types become a real majority, we are doomed as a nation and quite possibly as a planet.
