In AL, schools are legal with a permit. You can open carry while voting at most places; however, there has been some fuss over it.

I've never seen anything that bans CCW while voting in NY,Why would they care about you exercising your 2nd amendment rights while exercising your right to vote? :o :o

We didn't get to early vote this year, so the wife and I just went (a whopping 2 miles away) and cast ours. We are in a small precinct and there was no waiting, but it was steady.

In a county of around 45,000 (plus some undocumented "citizens") early voting numbers were nearly 7000. I expect a high percentage today.



Also of note to the discussion yesterday on CCW, the normal sign on the door banning guns was not present (it was four years ago). The only sign was a warning against cell phones and electronic devices and campaigning within 150' of the door.
