I picked up a CW45 last year - because "It's junk" according tot he previous owner.
Junk translated in to a mag follower key for slide lock back was loose in the mag.
After an empty mag it would walk out preventing loading and re-insertion.

Replaced the mag - more than 2,000 rounds in a year - flawless operation

Congrats on a great gun. I moved from a S7W .38 J- frame 642 to the .45 CW45

I started with t a N82 "tactical" and migrated to a Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0
My eyes suck so I added Crimson Trace LG-434 laser

Daily carry and LOVE it

Reply to my post - sent the Alien Gear holster back and reverted back to the N82 holster. The Alien Gear pushed too much on the most lower outer right bottom, sitting is OK but standing / walking put too much pressure on the top of my butt very annoying.

Also sent the mag carrier back it has too many sharp angles the poked IWB or OWB - and OWB it slid around on the belt - even their belt (which I will say is very nice for the price) and I ended up using my own ingenious mag pouch - why spend $35+ for some kydex stab-O-matic and went with the following:

I like the idea of using the Leatherman pouch for the mag but how do you carry the Leatherman? I have a different brand of multi-tool that's too big to fit any of the pouches I've seen. I carry it in my front pants pocket and and a bunch of stuff in the other front pocket. It took awhile to get used to it but now I don't even notice it.

RTFM, I have carried and recommended carrying spare mags in knife pouches for years.  It works well and no one is the wiser.  As for finding the proper size, I have always found a size I needed at gun shows.  Takes a little looking sometimes but I guess I have been lucky.  If you don't have the time to go, ask a trusted friend to look for you.  If you need a certain size and don't want to send an extra mag, cut a piece of wood to size and send that.  If you do use/send a mag, make sure it is unloaded.  Most shows frown on loaded mags.  Good hunting.

That last picture made me think. (Dangerous) Why doesn't someone make a folding clip that either folds away or falls away from the magazine when pulled out of the pocket that looks like a knife clipped into place in the pocket to hold magazines.  Maybe something that attaches to the floorplate of the mag but folds over to hold the mag inside the pocket???

Because it wouldn't fit in the pistol with a clip on the magazine.
