Phoenix Gun Shops
« on: November 09, 2016, 06:14:05 PM »
I think I'll be in Phoenix next month to visit my daughter and first grandchild.  If I have time, I hope to stop by a gunshop or two.  Any suggestions?  My preferences are for good used firearms made of blued steel and walnut as opposed to the newest, latest superbangers.  Superbanger type megastores are OK as long as they have a good selection of used and vintage firearms.  Thanks for any ideas.

I would have to say the Glendale, Cabela's is a must. The gun counter is over 100 feet long. And if you like high quality, you'll love the "Gun Library". If you are on the east side of town, (Mesa / Tempe), Bass Pro is worth a stop.

There are also 3 Sportsman's Warehouse's, (north, east, and west). The one by me on the west side just opened a couple of months ago, and has a large selection of guns of all types. Something for everyone. If you're in Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Gun Club is worth a stop. Not a lot of blued steel and Walnut, but a hell of a store where you can rent and shoot just about anything that goes bang. Including many full auto guns. Everything else is like most other mom and pop operations. Nice, but you'll never know what you will find. Their stock changes often.

I know of a small dealer near the Goodyear Airport, Estrella Arms.  He used to be in NJ and escaped to free America. Good guy. Here's a link to his website: http://www.colddeadhands.com/

The Scottsdale Gun Club is a neat stop.  And it has been three years but right next door was the a place specializing full auto and silencers.   I thought it's name was Full Auto, but from the map it looks like it's called Special Forces Outdoors.
