Possible off-grid water source.
« on: November 18, 2016, 03:26:03 PM »
Some of you may be interested in this, especially if you are a "prepper" or looking to be more "off-grid".

It is still being developed, so it may fall through.  We will see.

We know that worldwide, over 9,000 people die every day from a lack of clean drinking water. But what if there was a simple, affordable solution to creating water sustainability? Meet the WaterSeer, a device that uses air to create water.

nope its 100% bs, physics is a bitch.

thunderf00t on youtube( a long time liberal might I add) did a entire video on it, using thermodynamics proving that's its bs.

That doggone science stuff is tricky.  Especially when it doesn't miraculously conform to faulty preconceptions to produce impossible, feel-good results.

By the way, I have mentally invented a device that will increase the horsepower of any engine (gasoline, diesel or electric) by a factor of 100 without the use of any external fuel sources.  It will also eliminate the possibility of wear or breakdown and it runs on readily available nitrogen using a soon-to-be-patented air extraction process that is in the medial stages of being thought about.

If any of you want to get in on the ground floor of this groundbreaking physics extension project, I am accepting non-refundable donations which will allow each of you to have purchase rights to a first-off product when and if we get to the manufacturing stage.

Think of the possibilities:  endless energy for free from your whole home generator when installed with my invention on a 5 HP AC or DC electric motor;  or install one on your Mustang and have a 3,000 HP street racer that uses no fuel.  And weight is not a factor since I'm thinking this device will be made of Unobtanium and should weigh no more than a few pounds.  The possibilities are endless.

Just PM me for instructions on donation amounts and how to obtain untraceable funds for the donation.

Just a personal note:  I am really smart at science stuff, so you should trust everything I say.  I once drove through Berkeley and also visited a patient at the USC Medical Center and I have documentation for these claims.

Thanks for listening,

thunderf00t on youtube( a long time liberal might I add) did a entire video on it, using thermodynamics proving that's its bs.

Watched most of the video...I'm not a physicist, but it is not 100% BS..might be 99%, but I doubt it is that much..but it bothers me he starts with a lie

If it was 100% BS, water would not condense on a cold drink glass.

Seems he is looking at it wrong...he talks about cooling the air and loosing much of the water content.

That is not the process.....it is warm air comes in contact with a cold surface...his view is that we cool the air then put it in contact with the cold drink glass..and I agree..we would get little  water that way.

There is still the problem that much of the year in many places the air temp will be colder than the ground temp, but  half a year of some success,  how ever much that might be, is better than nothing.

There are other problems too...but they might be overcome...  Scientists once said people could never travel more than about 30mph in the open because the air would be sucked from their lungs at speeds above that..

I didn't notice  his real name in the video, but his statement that getting pure water is not what we should be working on, but water purification is....made me wonder if he is connected with that industry.

Not saying this whole thing is gonna work...just that there is more "workable" in it than the video claims

he is a science professor in the UK.

did you see the volume of air needed to be moved under ideal conditions to even get 1 liter?

he Is right, water is not the prob for most of the 3rd world conutrys, its drinkable water that is.

people have tried solar powered de humidafries and they are just not cost effective.  fact is putting your piss and shit in a solar still is better then that thing is.

Solar stills have been a standard desert survival tool for ages.

Stills?  Did someone say stills?  :o
