Cajun John Wayne Goes To Congress
« on: December 11, 2016, 06:23:03 AM »
The "Cajun John Wayne" won the 3rd District Congressional seat in Louisiana.  He was drivin out of his job and resigned because of outside pressures.  You remember him from the following Youtube:

Here he is resigning when agitators came in.  This drove him to politics:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/h60yXS1EFIQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Announcing as a candidate for US Congress:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NV6PxXKJH9c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here is one of his TV spots.  Four minutes in he talks about guns and "gun violence" calling out people who talk "hunting" which isn't in the Constitution.  Before that calls out notably absent mooslims:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_nLep2yRqhY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

And here he calls out the millionaire politician's good old boy club telling it how it is.  Linking dems to repubs and their mutual admiration in Louisiana.  He called out local NBC news guy and linked his past to the political hack attacks:

Poetic that political machines who pushed him out got replaced by him....

Sweet!!

A number of people I know from Louisiana outside that district had no idea he was running.   The news media kept it really quiet.  Even people "in the know" had no idea.  He ran against the Jindal political machine and beat it hands down without having a bag of gold.

I like what he has to say.

I liked the guy the first time I saw the video he did earlier in the year.
