"Terror"
« on: December 19, 2016, 04:09:52 PM »
What does it take to find media that can report without hyping?  That can describe without parroting worn out words and phrasing?

Earlier today there were to incidents in other countries:  The Russian Ambassador to Turkey was assassinated; and a truck driver ran into a crowd of people in Germany.  The very first reports on both of them labeled them as "terrorist attacks."  All afternoon we have heard over and over that they are both terror and nobody is claiming responsibility.  The talking heads can't figure out why ISIS is not claiming responsibility for these terror attacks.

NOT  EVERY  ACT  OF  VIOLENCE IS  A TERROR ATTACK!

I'm not saying that these may not be terror attacks, but, in the bigger picture, our media has decided that every thing is a terror attack.  Why are the uneducated susceptible to, and even educated get sucked in, to fake news?  Because, our media sees something, reports what they want it to be, and then quietly change as the facts come out and it fades away.

This issue parallels hate crimes.  Not every crime is a "hate" crime.  Or maybe even the infamous "gate."  Do any of these so called reporters even know that the reason Pres. Nixon's issue was labeled "Watergate" is because the name of the hotel was The Watergate?  Adding the word "gate" to the end of every scandal does not make you look clever or smart.  IT  MAKES  YOU  LOOK  STUPID  AND  UNINFORMED!

Now I starting my own drift, but it is all happening on the media reports this afternoon, and ...
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

The truck attack was no doubt brought to you by the idiots Merkel has allowed into that country. Who know who whacked the Russian ambassador. And really, who cares?

A Turkish police officer shot the Russian ambassador followed by some Allah Ackbars. He was taken out by other police officers 15 minutes later. And I agree about putting "gate" after every scandal. It's one of those things that really grinds my gears.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. They both were terrorism apparently.
The driver in Germany seems to have been Muslim.
The assassin in Turkey shouted "we die in Allepo, you die here." along with his aloha snack bars.

actually, every act of violence IS a form of terrorism.
Terrorism is intended to force a person or group to do something through fear of violence.
So whether it's a Muslim suicide bomber, an armed robber, or a wife beater, the objective is the same, to control some one else through violence or the threat of it.

The whole ambassador deal appears to be Russia / Syria related. Win / Win for us. Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future, these idiot European socialists, (AKA Angela Merkel), will realize the mistake they've made by allowing these violent "religious" zealots into their countries totally unvetted. If they don't, they're going to be digging a lot more graves.

Actually, the Turkey assassination illustrates the main cause of friction between Russia and,not America, but specifically the Obama administration.
While the Syrian govt has never been friendly to the US they ARE the legally recognized govt, that's who Russia is supporting.
Meanwhile the Obama administration has been supporting the rebels, Muslim Brotherhood terrorists with links to Al Queda who have been proven to be using chemical weapons.

That would certainly explain why Putin preferred Trump over Clinton... Who was nothing but a third term of Obama.

Exactly, the primary point of cooperation between Bush and Putin was the fight against radical Islam.
The radical Islamic movement was just getting started when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan under the auspices of the Muslim Brotherhood under different names in different countries .
