MSNBC Reporter gets "Newt"ured at the RNC
« on: September 03, 2008, 06:18:05 AM »
I think its time to stop playing "tiddlywinks" with the MSM, stop being PC, and hammer back.

Newt, can at least sound more intelligent doing it than me. But more of these kinds of responses to dumb-a** so-called "journalists", is needed.

Somewhere on CNN, Rudy G. did the same to Wolf Blitzer.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. - George Washington

I like Newt for the reason many in politics don't, HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. No sugar-coating there.
And, like the saying goes, "The truth hurts".

Newt gets a "good ol' boy pat on the back".

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

He's trying to prove the addage that you can fool all of the people some of the time (he's hopeful election day is that time), and fool some of the people all of the time (the leftist kool-aid drinkers)

Scary thing is, I think BHO is starting to believe his own BS.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

That was great!  Hopefully, Ron Allen uses that tongue lashing as a learning experience.  Don't ask stupid questions unless you want the reply to leave you walking funny.  As for Olberman... should have stuck with the ESPN gig.  You can be a total idiot and come across as funny when your narrating sports highlights, but when your in the political arena... the jackass comes shining through.

As I said on the blog,  the real telling comment came by Olberman at the end when he said that Gingrich "left openings" and that they, his network, through Brokaw (sp) would provide responses.

He's saying that it is his networks responsibility to rebut Gingrich.   WRONG.

One lesson here is that Gingrich is a college professor of history.   A subject matter expert in history.  Don't test him on it.   Duh!  The reporter had probably been told that Newt was a hick from GA.   In all likelihood the reporter didn't have a clue who he was really dealing with and his producer sent him out to be slaughtered.
