A trick to make your suppressed 10/22 a little quieter.

Pull the barrel and put a rubber o-ring and/or some silicone on the receiver face and tighten then tighten it up.  Not much...just enough to get rid of the metal-metal contact so the receiver bolt noise is dampened out and does not travel down the barrel.

I know this because of the AAC integral barrel I have on a 10/22....and I read about the spec ops guys doing it so I'm not so smart, I just run across things from time to time.
