I was in gun store today and a TV station called the owners and sent them two pics.  IF the pics are legit, and the owners said they had to be told by the TV station the pics were legit, then the bump-fire and a Daniel Defense were involved but who really knows right now.

Have any of you guys having Faceybook or whatever checked out the idiots Faceybook page or whatever.  I got a text from a cop friend that I don't want to share yet.  If he had a facebookey page then maybe you guys can confirm it.

Supposedly the guy had no social media.  From what I can tell the cops are being pretty tight-lipped with the details so it's all rumors right now.

I understand not hearing anything during an investigation but there really seems to be a blackout of information beyond normal.  Perhaps it's just the scale of the tragedy.

I think the Sheriff is playing it right and not putting everything out there until it's been verified.  I've watched a few news conferences and they're doing a good job!  Vegas is enuf of a circus by itself!  Why let the press make it more of one...

LA Times has reported that the hotel security guard was shot 6 minutes before the idiot opened up on the concert. 

The timeline is changing.  This may help explain the clampdown on information that seemed so out-of-place.

Another unfounded theory...but who knows....

Had lunch with a friend who says he "heard" that this was an FBI/CIA Sting operation that backfired.  Story is that Paddock was "hired" to do a sting weapons deal to ISIS...but started shooting instead...

Seems hollow to me...How interested would ISIS be in a couple dozen guns the guy had?

But I just hate to not spread Tin Foil rumors...

The conspiracy theories are getting so thick that it is hard to even find simple fact based information.  Between the politicians trying to secure their career on the dole, to the 24hr news cycle and talking heads that need to hear themselves talk and fill air time with "if it bleed it leads," to people that want their 15 minutes of fame and respond to the media with their far fetched theory of what happened to them at the event, to the wanna be experts who spout off and make things more confusing, to liberals scared of their own shadow and loud noises, to tin foil hat wearers who trust no one, to the rest of us gullibles out here, we will never know what happened.

I have a local gun shop that I will no longer go to.  How many of you remember a former member here who called himself Watchman?  He work(ed/s) at a place called Bill's Guns.  They are in three locations (two in Minnesota and one in Wisconsin).  I liked the place, and I bought a couple guns there, from Watchman.  I bought some other items and ammunition over the years.  However, the day after the shooting one of their managers was on the local news giving an adrenaline high interview and suffering from diarrhea of the mouth.  He spewed "clips", "full" auto, "ar15 full auto," and more.

Rant off ... for now
