I met Doug a few SHOT Shows ago when a mutual friend said, "You guys need to meet each other!" I've spent a lot of time in the backcountry and various Third World countries, and I tend to pay attention to stuff that keeps me alive. I found that I could trust Doug's evaluations.

Not obsessed or anything, but as you know from my whining, in the last 7 weeks of storms I've lost electricity periodically and water for a week. Because we're pretty well-prepared, situations that could have been crises were instead just bitch-fests!
