Started framing an addition today.  Wood got there about 8 am.  A little after 9, the pd showed up from a noise complaint.  Turns out the lady across the street is well known too them calling in complaints.   They said " you're  good" then went over and explained the law too her.  Fast forward too 11, code enforcement shows up, same deal, only this time add in the dumpster.  Once again, she was well known too them.  Said sorry for stopping me from working and have a great day.   Fast forward to 3:30. The building department shows, says they have a complaint about unpermited work...  ofc  I have a permit, hand it too them and tell them about the other 2 agencies  too  show up.  They say they are putting into the computer not too come out again.   


I swear why do some people make things difficult

Started at 7 this morning, she came out her front door and told me I was number 1.   I think she is just mad she woke up before noon.   It's now a little after 9, the deck( hoists and sub floor

That's what I was going to say as well.

I've observed and dealt with a wide variety of folks and have discovered that people who are miserable want others to share in it. Like the saying, "Misery loves company."
My m-i-l can be that way at times (heck, maybe all of us can on occasion) and I once told her that if I gave her a brick of solid gold that she'd complain that the corners were too sharp.
My dad used to say that folks like that would bi*@h if you hung 'em with a new rope.  ;D
