OH NO! A PINK GLOCK!
« on: September 13, 2008, 10:36:05 AM »
The day I have dreaded so long....is finally upon me.  My wife is ready for a new pistol.  It's not that it's pink that bothers me so much...it's that it's a Glock.  OK..yes, I know it's a great gun...it's just that I think they are about as good looking as south end of a....OK..I'll stop.  I need some help.

Where in the heck...or how in the heck...do I go about getting her a pink Glock 19?  I'm being the good husband here but as you can see from above I'm not up on Glock suppliers and after-market providers.  She wants a Glock 19 so it's going to be a Glock 19 and if I can get it pink I'd like to know where and are there pictures I can show here for color coordination and pattern selection.  She wants pink with....only a woman could appreciate this....mauve-like accents.  Seems like desecration to me...but I'm OK with that (I mean, c'mon it is a Glock how can you detract from the looks...oops...sorry..that one just slipped out... ;) ).

Seriously...I do need some help here as I want her to, in addition to getting a fine reliable weapon, have one with a great finish of her choosing that will not deteriorate with use.

I've already got a threaded barrel for her....there are benefits to carrying a purse!  ;D

You have to buy the gun and have it painted with Dura Coat.

Here are some pics of various pink glocks:

Not Pink, but cool anyway:

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

Hey, that pink and green look good....Ok, back to reality.  Just think of the surprise on some bad guy's face when he sees the flame and smoke coming from that "CUTE PINK GUN".  Neat Kodak moment!!!!!!!!!

Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Hey, there's no lipstick on that pig!

Rastus, go for pink camo. Seen it, have no idea how to do it, mostly multiple pinks and grays.

Update: Here's an example of pink camo. Google (fascists that they are) will help you find more - leave Glock out, just look for "pink camo"

You beat me to it. I just found that picture today, but mines bigger.  :)

My opinion: It's just a Glock do whatever you want to it.  ;D  Duracoat comes in many colors.
