ETS mags good to go or junk?
« on: June 19, 2019, 01:33:33 AM »
I just purchased some ETS mags for a very reasonable price. I?m hearing that they me just be complete garbage and some say they?re awesome. I?m completing an AR9 build using glocks mags. So far I just can?t trust magpul mags and theses ETS mags look far better. Please help

Interesting.  I've never heard of them.  Let us know how they roll.

I also see they have some AR mags with tritium in the followers.  That's really cool kewl if they work well.

Again....put those things through the paces and let us know how they well they perform.  Also...what issues did you have with the Magpul?  I know understand some with pigments other than the original had issues (for instance desert tan and green).  Inquiring minds....

my ETS 32 round Glock format with a Taylor Freelance extended pad gives me 39 rounds of 9mm for my PCC... I have about a year and a half without a problem...you do need to clean them occasionally... I use a 10 round ETS mag for my G43 when I practice so I don't have to load and unload my carry mags... no problems

The magpul mags are really stiff to load and seem swell. I?m noticing some added friction when loading a fresh mag. The ETS mags springs don?t collapse evenly. I?ll be headed to the range in a couple of weeks for testing

Mauserman... the first time I saw an ETS spring, I had doubts.... they work well for me, and it gives me a final check that I put a little shiny thing in the case when I reloaded it

I wonder what's happening to springs in mags that you can't see when you load them? I can't recall ATM seeing other double column pistol mags that are transparent, or that have windows on the sides so you can see inside. Then again, I haven't really looked for them.

I have say ETS MAG ARE CRAP. They don?t feed reliably at all. Good for the range maybe or for taking pics for instagram. FTF with 4 out of 5 mags. Garbage

Nope. Stern defense PCC and Glock 17 both choked regardless. I down loaded the mags with no luck, hell I took them apart and cleaned them. Only one mag worked😩
