I've used a little.  Made exclusively for Bass Pro, what ever that means.  It usually means it's made by someone else and private labeled with Winchesters permission.  It's kind of dirty..

I went bang when it was supposed to but for defense ammo, I rely on Federal Hydroshock or Remington Golden Saber.

It's inexpensive and supposed to match balistics with their target ammo of the same type....

It is not "Black Talon"...

I actually use strictly Winchester ammo for plinking, range and defense.

The SXZ is the Winchester USA ammunition with the addition of there Lubalox coating. I have ran it in my SR9, G21C and PX4 40 S&W with not one issue after more than 5,000 rounds. And The only gun I could say any appeared to be dirty in was my 21C thanks to the compensator.

I use the USA or SZX for plinking and the range and BlackTalons for home defense.

Also I have done comparissons between all of the Winchester stuff and have pictures of each type of bullet before and after each test.

Yea, I use Winchester white box for practice because it's reliable and relatively cheap to shoot.  At about 4 or 5 bucks a magazine for .45 ACP, it can get a little pricey...I'd use the SXZ but Bass Pro is about an hour from my house and I don't get out there enough.   You cannot buy mailorder ammo in Massachusetts.

I don't see any real difference in the coated over the FMJ but I don't shoot alot of the coated stuff to notice.

Whatever you decide for defense, make sure your comfortable with it.  It needs to work when you need it too!

I just bought a box of .40 JHP for $17. The price is good for JHP and a 50 round box. I have not shot it yet but have this feeling it will not be around much longer. My bass pro is not keeping up their stock.
