Fiocchi Problems
« on: May 28, 2020, 06:05:07 PM »
Everybody has problems now and then.  This just went a little beyond minor though.

Fortunately I was only practicing, not competing when this happened.  I was trying out some different ammo for use in competition.  MB had done a piece not to long about about Fiocchi so I was giving them a shot.  Fortunately I had ONLY ordered 1,000 rounds.

Fiocchi 38A.   130gr .38Specials

Out of the 1,000 rounds I experienced 3 squib loads.    Not something I expect in commercial ammo.   One I might have forgotten about it, but 3?

I've attached the box info and would recommend if you have the same markings (lot numbers?) that you tread carefully.   Definitely wouldn't depend on it for anything important, though these loads are more for practice/plinking than anything else.

Will work for ammo

It's what the local range carries, I never had a problem, not that I got to use That much of it.
I would never expect that from commercial as you say. Notify the company.
Wonder if it was Friday production   ;D
