Car/Truck Pistol Mount Opinions

I saw this and I like what it appears to bring to the table.  Do you guys have  any recommendations for quick access vehicle pistol holders?

I use either a shoulder holster, or IWB cross draw.
Plenty of access when I'm sitting.

" the console vault " is what i had installed in my truck.  It was grrat for when i had to take it off, or carrying was not practical.  If i knew i was driving long distances  i used cross draw or a shpulder holster.  Make sure ypu practice drawing.  I had one shoulder holster that always gave me issues with the seat belt, thr pther was fine
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

I carry IWB at 3:00... clears the seat belt, but I need to pull out the cover up shirt I wear

I carry the G17 and Recover Tactical brace in a gym bag on the floor, that has a shoulder strap if necessary to carry away...

I should have added more information but I was using my phone and was tired of typing.  This is for my wife.  She needs something easy...this appears to be pretty easy.

How are the roads where you live? There isn't a magnet strong enough that would fit under my dash that could hold a pistol when driving around my hometown. We have too many potholes and frost heave/cracking. Maybe a permanent mount of an actual holster with trigger protection and some retention?
"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
- Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

I like that idea I'll need to run it by my wife and she what she thinks.  We don't really have potholes...just a lot of washboard road coming in...which is plenty bad in and of itself.

If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
