I wish I had an iguana to eat the cricket that was swimming back and forth in the channel under the wall driving me crazy at night. If my room in the barracks wasn't next to the leaky water fountain I wouldn't have had a problem but stuff happens. One day I saw where one of the crickets was hiding in the space under the wall. So I got out my disposable lighter and can of deodorant and used it like a flamethrower, sweeping the area for several seconds. I must have used half a can of deodorant, the majority of which is alcohol, almost certainly propelled by butane and/or isobutane. From then on I referred to the combination of a butane lighter and can of deodorant as a "cricket lighter" no matter what brand the lighter was. It wasn't the only crispy critter to receive that treatment. My roommate called in napalm strikes and I delivered. ;)
