Is there any way to create a Parler account without giving them your mobile phone number? It has an asterisk by it. (Which I assume means it's required). I just don't want to get bombarded with crap. I already get a ton of garbage calls for extended car warranties, along with all the rest.

Tried signing up again.  There seems to be a problem with verifying that I'm a human.  It's not accepting my "CAPCHA" responses.  Frustrating.

Got in.  Had to use a different email address and phone number than the ones I used first time around.  I'm @BrianAChiaravalle

Had to give them. They text a confirmation code to that number.

I haven't been bombarded. They just use it to send a verification code when you first log in and if you log in on any other machine. That way you know if someone has hacked you. I have never received anything else from them.
