I am wondering how the Left is going to react as this all plays out.

Biden was the name that they pushed through the primaries and hung their hat on.  Many people voted for Biden, and some voted because of what's between Harris' legs.  But, I do not believe they voted for the extreme Left that Harris represents.  Keep in mind that Harris is far closer to a Sanders or Squad member than she is to the moderate position of Biden.

How will the main stream Democrat react when they watch their party swing from hardline talk quickly past their liberal stance, past communism, and land squarely on socialism?

I believe that right now the bulk of Democrat voters have been played by the extremists, and they will soon find out who the Russians, Chinese and Ukrainians have been pushing for.
