I should be getting my Bersa Thunder 380 on Monday. being in a foreign country makes it interesting when trying to buy a gun. lucky for me, as soon as I have legal residency I can own and carry a handgun, the good part is that I don't have to jump through any more hoops than a citizen does. It's still a apin in the but. I need a permit for any and all guns I buy, but a permit is good for conceled carry as well.

Soooooo..... I've done all I can until my background check comes in (sometime on or soon after Monday) and then I go down to the licensing agency to do a Psych eval

and a practical test (shooting). I will put some pics up as soon as I get the gun in hand. I wasn't looking for anything specific, but the choices here are fairly slim. so considering choice, prices etc.... this looked like the best thing goin'. it also feels nice, not to heavy and the dealer hooked me up with some new grips for it. so wish me luck dealing with the beurocrats, and I''ll have some info for you soon.
oh yeah, as I said, I live in Peru, anybody looking to head this way for a vacation let me know, we have a spare room...
