Re: Sunrise FL

Seemed like good agents trying to make a difference.  I would like to know more about the tactics involved.  6am, in the dark?  Any local LEOs with them?  US Marshalls?  Don't they normally serve federal warrants?   Vests?

I believe that as well, Alf.
I think the agents actually doing work are there for the right reasons, but as I mentioned above the higher-ups screw the pooch by hamstringing the decision making.
It has always been my understanding that feds have to clear operations with (at a minimum) the high sheriff of a county. I imagine in certain jurisdictions there is a good bit of posturing and pissing contests going on also....which hampers the guys trying to get good things done.

Also we have to remember (and this is from a credible source) that in the particular area of sex trafficking and child pornography these predators are harder to catch and tip-offs from insiders is a threat so different tactics are sometimes used.

As of late, child trafficking, child exploitation and similar crimes are a primary caseload for a good portion of the FBI. I know they conducted several multi-state sting operations that resulted in hundreds of arrests and the recovery of a good many missing persons. One of the latest stings was directed at a large child abduction and trafficking ring based out of central Georgia.

The only time I have ever wanted to physically  hurt some one was when he stopped a ship coming in from China and they had 200 is young girls for sex slaves aboard.  It was very hard not wanting to turn the m2 on them.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Don’t forget Hamer and Gault!  Bonnie and Clyde!

FBI had nothing to do with that.
In fact, Hoover refused the case.
Hamer was never associated with the FBI and wasn't even a Ranger when he murdered Bonnie and Clyde.
He was simply a private person hired by another private person who happened to run the Texas Prison system.

But they got the job done!

No they didn't.
3/4s of the gang were either dead, like Buck, or on the run for Chicago like Red Hamilton.
The 2 horny half wits were just the last 2 left .

Don't you actually READ about this stuff ?
Or just repeat old tales ?

I once butchered a whitetail with about as many holes in it as Bonnie Parker...  I understand they had a tough time embalming those two!

Wasn't that the one with Beatty and Dunaway?   :D :D :D

I preferred The Highwaymen.....might not be 100% (hardly any are) but it was probably closer to accurate than the above piece of garbage.

Honestly, Most people never heard of them before that.
I thought it was some kind of live remake of Bunny and Claude.   ;D

They were both a couple loser nobodies until Hollywood made them famous.
Don't think they ever got more than a $500 in a robbery. They were to amateurish to do a bank like the real criminals.
