The Road to Exeter (Sig P365 Competition)
« on: March 19, 2021, 10:47:17 AM »
Michael posted on FB about this so here's the link and skinny.

DARN   I just finished an evaluation of "want to buy" vs "needs" and had decided I would invest my meager funds into ammo and accessories.  I didn't really NEED a new gun.  Now this.   THANK YOU SIG.  ;D

Sig Sauer Academy is having a P365 competition in July.   It could become like a GSSF thing.    So I'm marching down to my local dealer with my Shield in trade and getting a P365XL.   Provide Miss Kitty approves and I can get a slot, we'll be going to NH this summer.

????  Not sure why I should watch a video about Bond Arms bullpup?

I know I'll like the P365.  I've shot it, and I do "want" it.   I just wasn't thinking I really needed to trade up at this time.  The Shield fills the CCW need just fine.  Sig Academy has given me a reason.

Alf, get a loader for the P365 mags!  That last round is a doozy!

Actually “doozy” implies something special!  It’s more like a yugy!  (Yugo). Hard to get that tenth cheerleader into the back seat!

Tom, I skimmed through it and it's all about the Bond Bullpup.  They do a brief comparison to the P365, but the video isn't really about the P365.

Yes, nothing except it's the best of the 3 and not the one supplied for evaluation and promotion.

There will need to be Board of Directors meeting with the R&R staff before this goes on the calendar in ink.

Worst case is I'll play the "I-am-getting-so-old-this-may-be-my-last-chance-at-a-big-match-ever" card.

Not thrilled with the travel choices.  Flying into Boston with firearms isn't ideal.  Driving would be long and tedious.

Can you get a flight into Manchester?
