There will need to be Board of Directors meeting with the R&R staff before this goes on the calendar in ink.

Worst case is I'll play the "I-am-getting-so-old-this-may-be-my-last-chance-at-a-big-match-ever" card.

Not thrilled with the travel choices.  Flying into Boston with firearms isn't ideal.  Driving would be long and tedious.

Fly into Manchester, NH instead.  Avoid MA!

Emergency meeting with BoD today.  Concept approved.  Purchased of P365 approved.

Issues remaining:
Transportation up for discussion.  I vote direct delta flight to Portland, will check on Manchester.
Must get slot when Practiscore opens.

So the year is shaping up.

USPSA Nats in May
Sig EDC in July
IRC in September
GSSF Dawsonville in November

Of course local USPSA, IDPA, Steel and ICORE matches.  GA State USPSA is at my home range again this fall.  Got to shoot that.

Wuhan flu has changed the competition landscape somewhat.  Smaller squads for one is the norm.   Last year's, and this years, USPSA GA State match had/has 10 person squads.  Shot in ~4 hours.  Enough volunteers to do pasting so  that the shooters don't.  So shoot in the morning, stay the afternoon to work as a paste'r.  Really nice way to have  a match.   They also use only one type of paper target, all start positions are the same (anywhere in shooting area, hands below waist) and have done away with chrono.   Runs very fast.

ME, NH & VT are all constitutional carry states.  ME has some restrictions on parks and Acadia national.  State websites have all the information.

Except eight round mag (or larger) possession is a felony in NY!  Ain’t no way to NE without touching NY...

<snip>

That seems to have gone well and quickly with "BoD".  So either "BoD" ain't the boss or...you gotta give something up...

I think the CEO, Miss Kitty, knows I'll play the "old-age" card.  We haven't been anywhere since 2019 IRC.  On going ad-hoc committee meetings are being held several times a day.  Right now the debate is over drive or fly, and whether she'd just stay home with the puppies.

My sister lives in Gorham, ME, so this trip we could visit her and my nephew and his kids, as well as tour NT and NH.
Driving is a 6 day round trip cost with gas, lodging and meals.  Flying is ~5 hours plus rental car.  And Portland, ME is a lot cheaper to fly in/out of than Manchester, NH.  At least from Atlanta.

FTF though.  Got to get a slot come 3/27 registration.

And find a P365!

Just left BPS and they had nothing but a M&P in .380.  My Cabelas I haven’t stepped foot in since a year ago today!  Nothing to be had, anywhere that’s worth my money.

After selling a hundred or so P365s, I do like the feel and pointy stuff...

My LGS has 27 P365XL MS in stock as of this moment.   Seven of the X Romeone.

And their not one of the bigger stores in town.  Plan is to go there Tuesday and do the trade.

The XL is on the Massopoopshits verboten list and unavailable!  Same with the grooved sight, dehorned one.

But you can buy an FN Tacticool in .45 ACP with a fancy range bag, two mags and a threaded barrel for $1400 bucks!
