Well, dog gone it...quit a hatin' on me. It was a disparaged burger that they handed to me!

And my wife's cold meal made it out...oh...about 15-20 minutes after I got the disparaged burger.  Same story as everywhere these days.

…..I got the disparaged burger.  Same story as everywhere these days.

You know it’s all tongue in check, right.

Was in Seiverville(think Dolly Parton) a year or so back and thought we drop in Paula Dean’s restaurant.
For some reason we ask several people coming out how their experience was and receive all negative responses.  We passed.  Further investigation showed there are no restaurants in that area above 2 stars.  I think a lot of the novelty chains are probably the same. With all respect to the Parrot Heads I’m not surprised by your experience.

Right.

Seiverville.  Never heard of it.  Known for it's peaks?

I saw a movie a few days ago and one song on the soundtrack was Dolly Parton singing a rock song. I was sitting here thinking, is that Dolly Parton doing a grunge song? Nope, it was post grunge. I have the Collective Soul CD this song is on. I didn't even know she was doing rock songs. Rockstar is the forty-ninth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. It was released on November 17, 2023, by Butterfly Records and Big Machine Records. The album is a collaborative project with a variety of rock musicians, marking Parton's first album-length foray into the genre. It has a mix of original material and covers of classic rock songs. The Deluxe Edition has 39 songs. Just because you CAN make a triple album, mostly covering rock songs, doesn't mean that you SHOULD make one.

So what you said is, "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

 ;D

I'd be careful in any way disparaging Ms Pardon, especially around Sevierville.  She's give a whole lot back to the community and employees quite a few families in the area.  Personally, while I've stayed in the area a few times, I've never gone to Dollywood itself.  Have been to her "rodeo" which puts on a good show given the genre.  (circus w/ horses)

Besides the pretty mountain scenery and the aforementioned Dame of the Smokies, Sevierville is also home of Bud's Gun Shop and Smokey Mountain Knife Works.  Both of which are worth visiting at least once.

But driving in that entire area (Gattlenburg) is SOOOOOOOOO BAD.
