I hope the mid terms turn out to be good for us... if not its going to be a hard time until 2024

Historically, a power imbalance like we have now is tipped in the mid-terms.  There are also signs from the past that it could carry to 2024.  However, we need to keep our heads out of our asses, not get cocky, and do the work to not only make some changes but make wise choices.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

And I would suggest if we have "idiot" relatives we encourage them to stay home on election day.  Ridicule is one way to help keep them under control....a bloody nose right now will probably work as well.

Should have thought of that in 2020.

More words.

The year of Soylent Green, btw.

HAPPY 2022, yall.

Here's my year in the firearms world

24 USPSA
24 IDPA
3 ICORE
6 Steel Challenge
6 GSSF Indoor League
2 GSSF Outdoor
SIG EDC
USPSA GA Championship and National LoCap Championship

Gotta work on getting those numbers up in 2022

Get your numbers up?  There are only 365 days in a year....how are you gonna do that?

Actually not hard to do in the ATL.  There's at least one IDPA or USPSA indoor match Monday through Thursday night.  And there's either an IDPA or USPSA or ICORE outdoor match occurring every weekend.  Sometimes more than one.  So by going out 2 nights a week that's 104 matches, then add in say one match every weekend for another 52, it would be easy to top 150  all within an hour drive.

We're very fortunate, with ~10 indoor ranges holding matches each week, some hold 2 different ones each week.  Then within an hour drive there's 5 major outdoor ranges;  River Bend (Dawsonville), Cherokee(Gainesville), South River(Conyers), Griffin(Griffin) and East Alabama.  Make it 2 hours and you can add CMP and Ft Benning.    There may even be more, but those are just off the top of my head.

Alf... shot one Ga State Match at Griffin, and after the awards ceremony, when they turned off the outside lights... it got freaky dark... I started carrying a key chain light after that

If its so dark you can not see the threat,
The threat (probably) can't see you either.

It's January, if IR picks you up, you need more layers.   ;D
