For both Harris and Biden the problem isn't the writers.  The issue is when their inability to stay on script takes over, and they start rambling.  They get stuck in a grove, like a scratched letter, or they say something they have either heard or thought of in the back of their minds.

I didn't even bring Pelosi up, but she is a real pro at this, and she may actually be a mentor to Harris.
