Good stuff, Michael

I'm very glad you enjoy my good friend Greg Bonds derringers, He and his Wife Mona, worked very hard to get their company off the ground, He built a .357 magnum for my wife and she love's it. He was kind enough to serial number the gun with my wifes initials and then the number 1. If you talk to Greg and I'm sure you have, let him tell you the story of his previous employer and what happened before the SHOT SHOW,  when he was premiering his pistol. I will not mention any names here.

I'm envious of your experience for the ( Uncle ) Jeff Cooper memorial, I was lucky enough to speak ( wrong word - LISTEN ) with Colonel Cooper at the I can't remember which SHOT SHOW. It was at the Petersen publlishing booth and a cohort and me were allowed to visit Jeff and his wife in private. One of the best 30 minute things I've done in my life. He and his wife were gracious and entertaining. I brought along a 1964 Guns and Ammo, that had Jeff in that famous pose, coming off a jump on a trail in his uniform, 1911 at hip level, and he signed it for me, after musing about that article with his wife. As luck would have it, that same magazine had the 1964 Olympic rifle team that kicked butt and took gold. I ran into ( no I actually stalked Lones Wigger, who still competes today ) and much the same experience, Lones, shared it with his wife and said things like, remember this guy and that? He signed it for me as well. Someday after I'm gone, someone will probably throw that double piece of history away, I need to get it out and put it into some sort of display.

Now I need to go to Safe packer and see what your talking about.

Cheers
