(RUGER)
« on: September 25, 2008, 03:33:11 PM »
:) :) :)   Well I got my sr-9 back yesterday, only a week turn around . Took it out today I had a hard time with the feel of it at first . Then I started to fire it and it didn't matter anymore about the trigger. I found it to fire smoother and more on target then before for some unkown reason. After 75rds I am a happy camper!!!!!!!!!!! After reading about the ruger p-345 I'm going to see what it looks and feels like , If I like it I think I'll be buying one of those. I personily feel that ruger did a great job!!!!! I know a lot of you are unhappy with it but this is my out look on the sr-9.

It is a fact that ANY weapon will have happy and unhappy owners. I am just glad it works for you. I have not had any experience with it but it kinda reminds me of my old Sigma. This was another one most people hated but I have never had a problem with it. I hope noone hates the look of my new 9mm........

Hey Keith, I'm very happy for you. If you got comfy with it that quickly it's got to be the real deal.

So which is it? Stainless, Black, or green?

Hey jayb, it is black with stainless, I think a lot of people forget to remember that a new firearm needs to be broken in just like a new car. You have to fire a few rds thu it till it gets right, but that is not to say that some are just built badly. When i worked for colt's in west hartford, conn. and saw how they use ballpene hammers on the slide to get it on the bottom recievers, i swore i'd never buy a colt product. AND NEVER DID... Sometimes you just get lucky....
