Taurus PT 24/7 pro
« on: September 25, 2008, 10:23:07 PM »
I heard a little about these guns a couple of months ago, but have been seriously eyeing them as of late.  I have not, however, spoken with anyone who has any real experience with them, so I have no idea about their accuracy, feel, or overall reliability.  I really like the idea of being able to get a second chance on a misfire, which seems like it would be a huge tactical advantage over attempting to clear the gun during a fire fight.  Can anyone help me out?  Thanks.

I love my PT-145. It is the little brother but has not failed yet. The trigger is sweet. Decent accuracy for a small .45. Hope this helps.

I have a Taurus PT 24/7 Pro in 9mm.   I have had it for about 4 months now and I have not had any problems with it.  it feeds anything I load or put in it without any problems.  We were out on Monday of this week and I shot it off the bench at 25 yds and had a 5 round group that you could put a cap off a Gater Aid bottle over and cover all 5 shots.  I installed a laser and at 12 feet I shot two clips and they were all touching.  I like this pistol so much that I am going to order it in a 40 S &W and also a 45 ACP, I am going to order the new Pro with the decocker.  I would recommend this pistol to anyone.  Hope this helped.  Dudley

I got a 9mm 24/7 in a trade a few months back. Fairly well made and the grip feels very good in your hand. Slighty smaller than a service sized pistol, so it is nice for a CC weapon. It's as accurate as my eyes will allow, and it eats my reloads with no problems.

I have the 24/7 .40 and love it. I have it in my rotation of carry guns. I have put 5-600 rounds through it without 1 ftf or fte. The 2 best qualities are 2nd strike capable and 15+1 in .40 cal. I trust mine with my life. 8)
