Gun violence is a public health crisis?

and if you take away all the guns (successfully) tomorrow you will be writing about knife violence chain violence, bat violence, car violence, etc.

I periodically fly into South Korea, and yes everything is controlled. I can't even carry a folding pen-knife that I use for work because they think it's 'dangerous'. I wonder what they use to cook?

If it's an epidemic, can people get shots to immunize them? 

The true epidemic, IMHO, is stupidity.  Unfortunately there is no immunization, however, there is a cure... natural selection.  (See Darwin Awards thread)     Nature just takes too long for those of us, like myself, with little to no patience for the condition.
