HK p2000
« on: September 03, 2024, 10:49:35 PM »
I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first HK. I couldnt see myself paying almost a grand for a polymer da/sa pistol. So I ordered some ammo and picked it up but something caught my eye. The p2000 was now going for $549. Just a couple of weeks ago it was $899. I couldn’t pass it up. Hopefully it’s as good as its reputation makes it out to be.

8)  I didn't know anything about them so I took a gander at Wikipedia. It says it's based on the USP Compact pistol with improved ergonomic characteristics, etc. And it's chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. And there are 7 trigger variants.

I got myself in trouble today. I just put money down on the p2000sk the subcompact model. I really like the ergonomic feel of the grip the mag release is different but nothing I can’t train around. Im going to the range to get a feel of my p2000. Got a mix of Norma and cci 124 and 115 grain ammo. I assume the 124 will be its preferred ammo. I’m going to take some wolf to see if it will run ok.

Too many guns to buy, and not enough money to buy them. ;) That's always my problem.

AND I still have a few in the safe I haven't had time to shoot! (Isn't that illegal somewhere?)

You're not the only one, and I don't have many guns.I planned on shooting one of them Labor Day weekend but took 2 other guns instead.
