I only caught the last eight minutes, but what I heard from the interview and Tom's closing remarks was interesting and sounded good, even though I didn't get the full context. However, I was saddened to see Tom was right on when he talked about the "influencers", media keyboard commandos, and media creating controversy to make a name ad money for themselves. Browsing around I found far too many calls for boycott based on out of context talking points, rants about how bad this company is in both quality and service (amazing how many engineers and FFL holders, both with 50 years in the industry, there are lurking in their mother's basements on these web boards), and outright calls to bankrupt the company and lynch the ownership.
I don't have a suppressor, but I have friends, in low places, who have them, and I have played with them. A few friends only purchase through Silencer Central and praise the process.
As a culture, we in the gun world are worse than the little blue haired biddies in the beauty parlor gossiping, and our PMS is worse than any female has experienced since Eve took a bite out of that apple.
