The Iranian Kerfuffle
« on: June 22, 2025, 05:23:43 PM »
Everybody stay safe.   We don't know what shenanigans the Religion of Peace may be up to.  I suspect even without direct jihad orders some true believers may "act" over the next couple of weeks.

Several observations.

-Bernie Sanders of course is spouting non-sense about Trump violating the constitution.

-Surprisingly, Marjorie Taylor-Green is, from preliminary reports, the most critical of Trumps actions.

-I think Congress Critters, even if they dislike the action, can't object too much less they be seen as anti-Semitic, and because former Presidents have dropped a lot more bombs than this.

-The US Military has turned off position monitoring, ADS-B, signals in Europe and Mid-East.  I can see assets in Western Pacific but nothing shows up from their to the Atlantic.

I remember when the Shah of Iran fell and the taking over our embassy, the marine barracks murders, etc., etc....with the puppet master being this Iranian regime.

I have zero doubt they would at a minimum institute nuclear blackmail on the U.S. at some point in the future.  I have no doubt they would pop the nuclear genie on us given the right opportunity.  What US prez would have the balls to say no to nuclear blackmail knowing full well that a major city or two may be lost.

I am glad Iran got bombed.  In fact, I'm a little miffed they used conventional explosives and not a tactical nuke in the bunker buster.  We have used nukes in wartime and it may have been a good opportunity to remind the world of that fact.  Plus Iran would have gotten what they wanted...a nuke albeit one in action.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, said that countries are ready to give nukes to Iran because we the agressor sob's, boo hoo, took away the ultimate terrorist toy from Iran.  What a blowhard idiot.  So if it's fair play to arm Iran with a nuke then someone tell that idiot son-of-a-bitch that turn about is fair play...countries are ready to give Ukraine a nuke.  I wonder how he would like that.....

On Valentine's Day 1980, I was in my dress greens on a bus from Fort Dix, NJ to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The lady next to knew about as much concerning politics as I did. She asked me if we were going over there to kick the Shah's butt. I think I just said I don't know, since I never knew what was going on when I was in the army. If we kicked anyone's butt it would have been I'mAToilet Khomeini. I don't think I'll ever forget how they kept track of the number of days of the Iran hostage crisis on the blackboard in basic training. Or how after 444 days the hostages were set free, I think it was just 20 minutes after President Reagen was sworn in. They weren't afraid of the peanut farmer, but they didn't want to get nuked by a President who had a pair of balls.

"Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered. There have been 14 missiles fired — 13 were knocked down, and 1 was “set free,” because it was headed in a nonthreatening direction. I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done. Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their “system,” and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I think a lot of key people (off the record, of course) sighed a little.

The biggest thing the nation needs to be alert for is another 9/11 situation.

With the Iran-Israel cease fire going into effect I suspect there is grinding and gnashing of teeth over at the DNC.  If the ceasefire holds, then Trump has another BIG WIN to contrast to their losing platitudes.

And the Chinese can be none too happy about it either...other than they will keep getting Iranian oil with the regime staying in place.

The Russians...who knows and who cares what they think after the tripe that fell out of former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's mouth yesterday.  Give the Iranians nukes...what a blooming idiot.  Lets give the Chechens or Ukranians a nuke and see what happens to Russia.....unmitigated idiot that Medvedev is.

Treacherous bastards being what they are......  I get it the Iranians launching missiles right up to the ceasefire time to get in their licks (not honorable but expected)...but they really unloaded after the ceasefire.  I am not surprised.  Iran has lied for the last 4+ decades.  One thing they have not lied about is wanting to eliminate the little satan before they get rid of us, the big satan.  People have got to remember in that moo slum world you cannot lie to an infidel...no, not that you aren't supposed to lie it's that a lie is not a lie when fed to an infidel.

Now that Khameaney thinks his bacon is safe he'll go back to what he knows best.  Lying, threatening and killing innocents via terrorism.  I'm thinking he needs to be eliminated.  It's a shame that the Iranian people don't have the gumption to overthrow the regime.

Trump should have had them put some bacon in those bombs and parachute a bunch of pigs into khameaneys neighborhood.

I'm surprised at the calls for Trump's impeachment.  Talk about not even being aware of recent history.  Bernie Sanders and AOC.  Oh wait.  I'm not really surprised.

Of course as the DNC would have spun it had it been Biden,  It was a mostly peaceful flyover.

The reality that most of us here must learn, relearn, and relearn again is that this is not the world or political atmosphere we were born into and were raised in. Can you imagine the Cuban Missel Crisis, Hiroshima or Nagasaki, or even U2 flights in today's atmosphere of build a controversy Media or Legislative Branch?

WARNING WILL ROBINSON - WARNING!!! THE FOLLOWING COMMENT IS NO LONGER POLITICALLY CORRECT, BUT I'M AND OLD FART, AND IT IS THE WAY I TALK.

It isn't that we have too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Our problem is that everyone thinks they are a Chief, and they are bent out of shape because they aren't being recognized as Chief.
