Eggnog.  Is it good for you?  I would say yes.  Some are afeared of salmonella from the raw eggs.  Nutmeg, milk, cream, etc. all good.  Sugar...well, what's life without a little thrill?

Humans are born with a taste for sugar. In my case it's an extreme craving. Eating sweets, and drinking sweet drinks, is only natural. If you're worried about salmonella in your eggnog, add lots of rum and whiskey. I never heard of anyone getting salmonella poisoning from pickled eggs. ;D

I would think the salmonella would come from dirty egg shells.  So...wash them off and eat on.

That's right. Wash the eggs, and don't eat chicken s**t!

My dad dropped his chewing gum in the henhouse and it took him 5 or 6 times to find the right wad on the floor. :o :-[ :(

Seriously though, most chickens in poultry processing plants have salmonella. It's bad enough that they have to be scalded or dipped in bleach to kill it.

Bleach is okay with me too if they rinse it well after that. The first time I heard about it I thought it was horrible.
