Gee, who do we know in Prescott, AZ? Maybe it's a surprise from the  Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. I would sure be surprised if that's who it was from. :D
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Surprise, surprise, surprise.  A new Ruger MkIV mag showed up today in the mail.  As predicted in the comments section of shipping document it say, “…thinks it was not machined properly.”  Nothing extra for my trouble and $7.60 shipping cost.

The new one fits correctly.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I remember the day when $7.60 would buy a new, genuine, Ruger magazine  :'(

I remember when you could buy a brick of 500 22LR's for under $9.....

And the Kel-Tec PMR 30 has a double stack 22 Magnum magazine.  I know that's not a 22 LR but it is a rimfire.  I suspect that being longer that it's a bit easier to do in a 22 Mag then in a 22 LR.  My Kel-Tec mag has worked flawlessly and I would anticipate Ruger's stacked 22 LR mag will work as well.  But then...it's never a smart thing to base one's opinion on someone else's reputation and ability to produce something.

And back in the day weren't they 50cents/100, or am I dreaming and it was something ridiculous like $1 /100?

Now, for quality .22lr it's closer to $12.

Hard to tell what's a dream and what's a memory fragment these days.....

I'm still working my way through my last few milk carton bulk, 550 round, with price sticker of $8.95.

None, however I do need to do a light cleaning of the bolt every 50 or 60, because they get sticky.
