So far so good.  We just got to see how well Pete Hegseth's Department of War has performed in nabbing Maduro.  I suspect very, very well when all the data that can come out does come out.

An early report from President Trump, who was just on Fox & Friends, said we had a helicopter damaged down (presumably shot down) with injuries but no fatalities are reported for this operation.  It takes a while for all of the field information to make it in so we'll really know what is what in another couple of days.  Regardless, Maduro and his wife are on the USS Iwo Jima headed for NYC and a trial much like Noriega received.

Next?  Governor Tim Walz I hope.

Delta Force (1st Special Forces Operational Detachment–Delta) founded in 1977, is one of the U.S. military's premier Tier 1 Special Mission Units, performing the most complex, classified, and dangerous missions as directed by the National Command Authority. They're so bad@$$, when the Navy created SEAL Team Six 3 years later, in 1980, it was modeled after Delta Force. The Top Tier special missions units are 3 Army units, and one each of the Navy and Air Force that make up the baddest of the bad special operators in the U.S. military.
