Like the subject says, Backorder Sale - 30% off all Devil Dog Concepts products. All backorder items are expected to ship at the end of January 2026. This is probably the best deal you're ever going to get, if you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks. This is my 5th order, and I haven't seen a better price in the year I've been shopping there. I just ordered another Hard Charger Original Front Mount, with aluminum tactical handle. It mounts to the 13th (front) slot. They also make one that mounts to the 1st (rear) slot, and the Tactical hard Charger that mounts to the 3rd slot, and may or may not give you enough room to mount a backup sight behind it. My rear sight didn't quite fit, but nearly anything fits with the original front mount, a long as you don't need to mount a scope right there. The Gen 2 side chargers have an adjustable tip at the front of them. That allows them to fit a lot of billet uppers, not just mil-spec forgings. They'll even work on Ruger SFAR .7.62 NATO/.308 Win. and 6.6 Creedmoor rifles, and PSA KS-47s. They also made side chargers for AR-10 size rifles. I haven't tried any of the other handle styles, but really like the tactical one. I've read good and bad reviews about the folding handle. It's not worth the extra $7.00, $4.90 during the sale, to me because the original and tactical handles don't stick out any farther than a lot of tactical latches on regular charging handles. It's not enough to get caught on a lot of stuff, but if I was worried about it, I'd buy an optional Subdued handle and swap it out. You can use a folding handle or any of the 5 fixed handles on any of the side chargers. The push rod screws into them finger tight, so it only takes a moment to change them.

I also ordered an O.D. Green Magpul MBUS Gen 2 Flip-Up AR-15 Front Sight for my Trek-22 rifle since the pointed post on the RIA front sight is no good to me. The sight was only $11.98. That's better than paying Magpul $39.95 for one. And since they don't have a rear sight to match, I'll probably order one at full price from Magpul after I get this one. Then I can have matching O.D. Green sights on the O.D. Green Trek-22, and put the other sights back on my VRF14. Or maybe I'll just use the front sight hood I made for it. I need to try it out this spring and see how well it works.
